Paint consultant / inspector – Technical Supervisor

With increasing sales and volume of assignments, Westing now needs to strengthen our team within sales and technical inspection. Therefore, we are looking for a FROSIO-certified paint inspector with relevant experience and knowledge. A geographical connection to Fosnavåg/Hareid, Bergen or Harstad is desirable, but we are also open to the ideal candidate residing elsewhere in the country.  

 

Your responsibilities: 

  • Plan and carry out inspection missions, perform testing and final inspection
  • Quality assured procedures, deliveries and specifications
  • Document and report inspection results that meet both internal and external requirements
  • Work preventively to ensure quality execution
  • Building and developing good relationships
  • Inspection assignments will involve travel, mainly in Norway, but for some projects also abroad.  

 

Your background and qualifications: 

  • FROSIO certificate
  • Good computer skills and generally interested in digital work tools
  • Good oral and written communication skills in Norwegian and English
  • Drivers license Class B
