Sales Manager
With increasing sales and workload, Westing now needs to strengthen our sales and technical inspection team. We are therefore looking for a salesperson who can help strengthen and maintain existing customer relationships, but is also interested in opening doors for new customers. A geographical connection to Fosnavåg/Hareid, Bergen or Harstad is desirable, but we are also open to the ideal candidate residing elsewhere in the country.
Your responsibilities:
- Extensive customer contact and outreach sales to existing and new customers
- Sales and budget responsibility for region and customers
- Arrange customer meetings and be active in the market
- Survey and follow up on new customers
- Prepare quotation materials and paint specifications
- Be a driving force for marketing activities and participate in sales promotions such as trade fairs and customer gatherings
Your background and qualifications:
- Broad contact network and good industry knowledge within the maritime sector.
- Experience with outreach B2B sales
- Good computer skills and generally interested in digital work tools
- Good oral and written presentation skills in Norwegian and English
- Interest and experience in painting and surface treatment is an advantage, preferably with FROSIO certification and professional training in surface treatment.

About Westing
Westing is a consultant and supplier of paints and protection for ships and industry. The company was established in 1981 and is located with a warehouse and head office at Eggesbønes in Herøy municipality. During 2025, Westing will move its head office to Hareid. Westing has sales representatives and inspectors along the entire coast. The company has a partnership agreement with AkzoNobel for International® Marine Paints in Norway and Denmark, and has in recent years grown to become AkzoNobel's largest distributor of paints in Europe.
