Hiring: Sales Manager
With increasing sales and workload, Westing now needs to strengthen our sales and technical inspection team. We are therefore looking for a salesperson who can help strengthen and maintain existing customer relationships, but is also interested in opening doors for new customers. The position is geographically linked to the head office in Hareid, with a focus on the Sunnmøre region.
Your responsibilities and tasks
- You will be responsible for sales and results in your region, and follow up on both new and regular customers.
- You build good relationships and work actively with outreach sales, including mapping and follow-up.
- You will be an important contributor to marketing and CRM work, and participate in trade fairs, customer gatherings and other sales activities.
- You will prepare offers and paint specifications, and be responsible for negotiations and entering into agreements.
- You will work closely with technical professionals, such as inspectors and paint consultants, to ensure good project implementation and support in customer dialogue.
- You report sales results and progress to the sales director.
Your background and qualifications:
- Preferred senior salesperson or experience as a sales manager
- International sales experience a big plus
- Broad contact network and good industry knowledge within the maritime sector
- Experience with outreach B2B sales
- Good computer skills and generally interested in digital work tools
- Good oral and written presentation skills in Norwegian and English

About Westing
Westing is a consultant and supplier of paints and protection for ships and industry. The company was established in 1981 in Herøy, and in 2025 we moved our main warehouse to Hareid. At the beginning of 2026, the head office will also follow to Hareid.
Westing is part of the Teige Group, which has ownership and activity in several industries, including fisheries, shipping, agencies, real estate and health.
Westing has sales representatives and inspectors along the entire coast, and we work with AkzoNobel through a partnership agreement for International® Marine Paints in Norway and Denmark. In recent years, we have grown to become AkzoNobel's largest distributor of paints in Europe.
