Westing is an advisor and supplier of quality-assured paint systems and protection for ships and industry. We were established in 1981 and are located with warehouse and headquarters at Eggesbønes in Herøy municipality. Today, you’ll find sales representatives and inspectors from Westing along the entire Norwegian coast and in Denmark. We also have branches in Harstad and Bergen.

Westing has a partnership agreement with AkzoNobel and has, in recent years, developed into their largest paint distributor in Europe. Through this collaboration, we also deliver marine and industrial coatings worldwide.

At Westing, it is important for us to provide customers with solid consulting support to ensure efficient and economical paint maintenance. Our dedicated team of sales and technical personnel along the coast assists customers in choosing the right paint system and offers advice on surface treatment and corrosion protection.

Westing is a subsidiary of Kaston AS and part of Teige Gruppen, which has a broad range of activities across several business segments, including fisheries, shipping, trade, real estate, and healthcare.

Efficient logistics is a key component of our ability to deliver comprehensive solutions – from consulting to final delivery. That’s why we’ve chosen to build a large and modern warehouse in Hareid, operated by our sister company, Teige Service & Logistikk. This is a newly established company within Teige Gruppen, created to provide shared warehousing and support functions for the group’s own companies. This gives us a high degree of flexibility, strong management, and full control over the flow of goods—enhancing our ability to deliver with precision and quality, and creating great customer experiences through safe and predictable logistics.
