An eventful week at Nor-Fishing
Last week, Westing participated in Nor-Fishing in Trondheim, one of the most important meeting places for the fishing and aquaculture industry. Together with Zewo, we were present at a stand in Hall D, where, throughout the entire fair week, we met customers, partners, and industry colleagues from Norway and abroad.

We greatly enjoyed meeting customers, partners, and industry colleagues throughout the fair week. In addition to the activities at our own stand, we also met several of our customers and partners out on the exhibition grounds. It is always inspiring to meet engaged customers and people who contribute to the development of the industry every day.
One of the highlights of the fair was seeing several of the projects we have been involved in represented among the exhibitors. At Dalen Industriservice, we saw a seawater pump exhibited with Interline 984 tank coating from International Paints, supplied by Westing. The solution is designed to provide excellent corrosion protection in demanding environments and is a good example of how proper surface treatment contributes to increased lifespan and reduced maintenance needs.
At Skansenkaia, we also visited Sunbeam, a magnificent pelagic fishing vessel built at Myklebust Verft for the Scottish shipping company Sunbeam Fishing Ltd. The vessel was open for visitors during the fair, and it was particularly gratifying to see a project we have been involved in showcased in this way. Westing is a proud paint supplier to the vessel, and Sunbeam is a prime example of modern shipbuilding where quality, operational reliability, and long-term protection are in focus. We thank the shipping company and the shipyard for their trust and congratulate them on the superb new build!
Another highlight of the fair week was our traditional customer evening at Kafé Skuret, where we gathered nearly a hundred customers and partners for a pleasant evening in informal surroundings. The evening offered a great atmosphere, delicious tapas, a troubadour, and many good conversations across companies and professional communities. Many thanks to everyone who attended and helped make this another great success.
Nor-Fishing is primarily about people, knowledge sharing, and collaboration. With many good meetings, professional discussions, and new impressions, we look back on a very eventful week in Trondheim. Thank you to everyone who visited our stand or participated in the customer evening at Kafé Skuret.
