From warehouse manager to technical paint advisor

Westing is strengthening and expanding its technical team through internal promotion, with Peter Daniel Baade now stepping into the role of technical paint advisor. With years of experience as a warehouse employee and warehouse manager at Westing, the thirty-four-year-old is now taking the next step and following in his father's footsteps into the technical field.

Many people are well aware of senior paint advisor, Fredrik Baade, who has been a key professional at Westing since 2014. With deep insight, extensive experience and genuine interest in the painting profession, he has been an important resource in the technical department.

Now his son Peter Daniel is following in his father's footsteps. After several years as a warehouse employee and warehouse manager, he is taking the next step into the technical field, with Fredrik as his inspiration and professional sparring partner:

"I see this role as an opportunity to learn every day. The profession presents complex challenges, and having my father as a source of experience and knowledge gives me a solid foundation for solving them," says Peter Daniel, who is looking forward to further developing his profession.

During the autumn, Peter Daniel will also complete FROSIO certification, which is a recognized international qualification in inspection and surface treatment. The certification provides professional weight and documented competence in the assessment of corrosion protection, paint systems and technical quality. This will both strengthen Peter Daniel's role as a paint consultant and help to raise the team's overall competence, so that Westing can continue to deliver technical services with high quality, precision and professional integrity.
