Main warehouse moved to Hareid
Westing has now established full operations at its new main warehouse in Hareid, following an efficient and smooth relocation operation. Goods and equipment have been moved from the previous warehouse in Eggesbønes, and on Monday morning the new warehouse at Isakdalen 24 was fully operational. The move marks an important shift towards more modern and efficient warehouse operations.

The move to Hareid gives Westing both better space and more professional logistics. With modern facilities and a professional warehouse system in place, the new main warehouse facilitates faster delivery times, better overview and increased efficiency in goods flow and distribution. The warehouse handles, among other things, paint tinting, and is rigged to meet both current needs and future growth.
The move also marks the end of an era for Westinghuset, which is no longer used as a warehouse location. All warehouse operations for Westing are now concentrated at Hareid and operated by the sister company Teige Service & Logistikk, which was established to provide joint warehousing and support functions to the group's own companies. As part of this development, the old Ekornes factory at Hareid will eventually become a new warehouse for several growing companies within the Teige Group's trading segment. This is in line with the group's strategy for co-location and joint support functions, which is intended to strengthen collaboration and resource utilization across the businesses.
