New head office at Hareid

Westing marks the start of a new chapter this week as the company gathers in its new headquarters in Hareid. In the former Nordea building right next to the express boat quay, Teige Gruppen has now completely renovated the venerable building in the center of Hareid. After a year of renovation and refurbishment, the first floor is now completed and in use, while some work remains on the second floor.


The building has undergone extensive modernization, preserving important elements of the original architecture – including interior and exterior brickwork, the original marble floor and the iconic fountain. Combined with new lighting solutions and modern facilities, this building has a distinct character. As the new head office, the building now serves as a base for Teige Gruppen and several of the group’s companies, including Westing, Zewo, Teige Service & Logistikk and Teige Rederi. The co-location facilitates closer collaboration, more efficient use of resources and a strengthened professional environment across the various business areas.

When Westing moved its paint warehouse from Eggesbønes to the former Ekornes factory in Hareid last October, the company received a significant boost in the form of modern warehouse facilities and improved logistics flow. This establishment marked the start of a new phase for the company, and now the entire organization is gathered in one comprehensive center of gravity in Hareid. Westinghuset in Eggesbønes will function as a branch office for the time being, but will be phased out and closed from 1 January 2027.

Westing is among the companies in the group that have moved in, and this week the entire sales and technical team gathered here to take over the premises and kick-start the start-up of the new head office. Westing CEO, Agathe Teige Eiksund, has no doubt that the new premises provide energy, inspiration and good conditions for a high satisfaction factor:
