Westing strengthens the organization for continued growth
Westing is experiencing high activity and solid growth, and is now taking several important steps to further strengthen the organization. Håvard Vågen Veddegjerde has been appointed as the new Head of Sales, Solveig Brandal is taking on the role of Sales Manager, and Fredrik Hølvold is moving into a newly created role as Head of Business Development.

The changes and additions are a natural progression in the development of the sales organization, and are intended to ensure sufficient capacity and execution capability in a market with high activity and good demand. We are thus strengthening our presence in our region with Håvard and Solveig, and promoting internal resources through Fredrik's new role, which we see as necessary to realize the great market opportunities we foresee, says Agathe Teige Eiksund, CEO of Westing.
In his role as Head of Sales, Håvard Vågen Veddegjerde will be responsible for leading Westing's sales and technical department, focusing on direction, good structure, and further developing close collaboration between sales and technical expertise. Solveig Brandal joins a strong sales team and takes on an operational role as Sales Manager, responsible for sales efforts in a defined region and close follow-up of customers in the maritime industry.
Fredrik Hølvold, who has been Head of Sales at Westing since 2023, is stepping up into the role of Head of Business Development. In this role, he will be responsible for business development, new market opportunities, strategic partnerships, and commercial initiatives. This role, in close collaboration with the sales organization, will contribute to good continuity as Veddegjerde now assumes the role of Head of Sales.
Westing is in a very exciting phase, with good momentum in the market. In the new role, I look forward to working purposefully to develop new opportunities and contribute to further growth and value creation for the company, says Fredrik Hølvold.
In parallel with the changes in the sales organization, Westing is also strengthening its technical capacity and is now in the process of recruiting a Technical Supervisor to meet increasing activity and ensure good technical follow-up and execution in projects.
