We are looking for a Sales Manager responsible for Northern Norway

We at Westing are looking for an proactive and relationship-oriented Sales Manager responsible for Northern Norway. This is a key commercial role responsible for driving sales and developing the customer portfolio in the region.

As a Sales Manager with us, you will own the entire sales process – from initial contact to contract signing and subsequent follow-up. You will work actively with both new and existing customers, and be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing relationships, and driving growth in your market.

You will have primary responsibility for Northern Norway, with a particular focus on Troms and Finnmark. We have an established presence in the region, including a warehouse in Harstad, and the role will be central to strengthening and further developing our position in this market.

You will collaborate closely with our technical experts, who provide advice and quality in deliveries. You will be part of a strong sales and technical team with representatives along the entire coast, where collaboration, sharing experiences, and common goals are central.

Your responsibilities and tasks

  • Operational responsibility for sales activities in your own region and customer portfolio
  • Drive proactive sales and follow up with both new and existing customers, with extensive travel in the region
  • Own and execute the entire sales process – from needs clarification to contract signing
  • Prepare offers, specifications, and lead negotiations with customers
  • Build and develop long-term customer relationships
  • Be an active driver for marketing work and sales activities, including trade fairs, campaigns, and networking
  • Work structured with CRM for customer follow-up, activity documentation, and further development of the customer portfolio
  • Collaborate closely with technical resources to ensure good and correct solutions
  • Report sales results and progress to the Head of Sales at Westing



Your background and qualifications:

  • Experience from proactive B2B sales, preferably within the maritime or industrial sector
  • Documented results from sales work and relationship building
  • Ability to work structured with your own customers and processes
  • Good business understanding and commercial acumen
  • Experience with CRM and digital work tools is an advantage
  • Good communication skills in Norwegian and English
